Copying Excel 2007 chart to Word 2007 - only half of it shows
When I copy from Excel and paste in Word a scatterplot chart that does not
have the chart area border lines on it (I didn't want them to show) only the left half of the chart shows. When I leave the chart area border lines there, it copies the entire chart. How can I get it to copy the entire chart from which I have removed the chart area border lines? I use just regular copy and paste. I next change the text-wrapping format, but still, I need the entire chart. |

Try copying it in Excel then in Word on the Home tab click the arrow below
the Paste button and choose Paste Special. Then select Bitmap or Enhanced Media file. If those don't work try a few others on that list, one of them should do it for you. HTH. Thanks, Mike. I selected Picture (Enhanced Metafile) and that worked.
FYI, after either that or a plain paste for bordered charts, I click it to select it, then go to FormatText WrappingThrough. Then while it is still selected I copy and Paste Special again as Picture (Enhanced Metafile). A duplicate appears and I delete the original one. I can resize and move the new one without the text jumping around. Thanks again.
