I have started using Excel 2007 and have a great number of Workbooks that
have been created in earlier versions of Excel. Is it best to use 2007's convert process or SaveAs process to take these Workbooks into Excel 2007. |

It is up to you.
If you convert, the original will be overwritten and cannot be recovered. If you saveas 2007, the original is not overwritten.
