Malfunction formulae
Hi all,
I'm creating an excel marksheet using MSExcell 2003... and after putting in multiples of formulae in cells.... past formulae don't seem to work, the formulae still there but they doesn't seem to work... too bulky? Is there a limitation for cells with formulae? I'm lost.... Help me please. Can't have too many cells with formulae? Thanks. |
Malfunction formulae
If you see the formulas--and not the results, maybe you've entered the formulas
in cells formatted as text. Format the cell as General (or anything but Text) and re-enter the formula. Or Maybe you're looking at Formulas. In xl2003 menus: Tools|Options|view tab|uncheck formulas ctrl-` (control-backquote, the key to the left of the 1/! on my USA keyboard) is the shortcut key for toggling this setting. Or Maybe the results look wrong. Make sure that you let excel recalculate automatically. In xl2003 menus: tools|options|calculation tab is where you'd find this setting.
