multipy group of numbers
is there a quick way to multipy a large group of numbers by 1,000?

Further explanation, I have different numbers in about 2500 cells. I want to
multiply each number times 1,000 and have that product of the # in the cell times 1,000 present in the cell. "Mary" wrote: is there a quick way to multipy a large group of numbers by 1,000? |

Put 1000 in an empty cell.
copy that cell select your range of cells to adjust. Edit|paste special|check multiply Clean up that helper cell. Mary wrote: Further explanation, I have different numbers in about 2500 cells.
