Only by VBA, unless you have (or could have) used conditional formatting to
determine the colours, in which case you can filter or sort an equivalent relevant condition. -- David Biddulph vlook fomula wrote: hI, 1. Is there any way to use filter on different color rows 2. Is there any ways to sort out rows with color wise Regards Zafar |

If you're using xl2007, you can apply your data|filter and sort and filter by
color. If you're using an earlier version (xl97-xl2003), you can use Ron de Bruin's EasyFilter to filter by color. http://www.rondebruin.nl/easyfilter.htm If I wanted to sort by a color, I'd use a helper column to return the colorindex that I wanted by using a user defined function like the one Chip Pearson shares. In your above post, you didnt mention which excel version you are using.
We can retrieve the Font Colour Data and Cell Colour data independently while applying the Autofilter in Excel 2007. If the retrieving method is based on a single column then it is very easier in Excel 2007 Auto filter.
