inserting Long Text Lines in Footer

How do you insert 3 or 4 lines of text that take up the width of the sheet.
I read somewhere that it can be done but don't remember how.

inserting Long Text Lines in Footer

Max length is 255 characters in a footer or header.

Select Custom, delete any footers you have in center or right and in the
left footer start entering text.

It will stretch across the width of sheet and wrap to next line until you
get two or three lines.

If you have entered more than 255 chars Excel will let you know.
