how can i get hyperlink to just find the file and not ask to open it?
i just want to find the file so i can just delete it

I don't think you make a hyperlink do this.

Maybe you could link to the folder and the delete it.

For me, I'd just open windows explorer, tranverse to that folder and delete the
file.
