Excel 2007 time calculation
I export time statistics into Excel 2007 so that I can get totals for
multiple entries. The time format is hh:mm:ss and in the hours field it adds a leading 0. When I set up a SUM calculation the answer is 0. If I click on each field first which removes the leading 0 the SUM works. I have not found a way to make this work other than to click on every cell before I add the formula. |
Excel 2007 time calculation
Click on an empty cell somewhere and <copy that cell. Then highlight
all the cells with the time in them and right-click and select Paste Special | Values (check) | Add (check) | OK then <Esc. An alternative way is to use Data | Text-to-columns. Hope this helps.
