Is it possible to lock the width of a column, but still allow data to be
entered in that columns cells?

Can you lock the width of a column?

Hi,

Select cells in which the user is to be allowed to enter data.
Right click - Format cells - Protection tab -uncheck 'Locked'

Tools - Protection Protect sheet. check everything except 'format columns'
and 'format rows'
OK
