Excel 2003 file size increase
Hi,
I have a monthly report with 13 worksheets in a work book. Each month the previous month's report is saved as a copy, so aug_09.xls becomes sep_09.xls etc. This month the file size increased from 99kb to 265kb. These reports only use ROUND and SUM. No Macros. No vlookups. No PivotTables. I have checked the LastCell in each sheet and it is where I would expect. There are no extra rows/columns in any sheet. There is a small gif in each sheet, but that has always been there. http://contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#Unused did not work to reduce the filesize. I have copied all sheets to a new workbook. The size remains the same. I know this is a small workbook, but really I don't want this to ocurr again. Thanks for any help Charlotte |
