macro to change scientific representation

I have column where numbers are in fact bandwidths of routers, for example
1866000 which I want to represent as 1.87 Mb, 1866000000 should be
represented as 1.87 Gb, 186600000 should be represented as 187 Mb or 0.187 Gb
etc. Please help with a macro to accomplish this.

Thanks.
