Editing from Multiple computers?
Is there any way to edit the same workbook from multiple computers at the
same time? We are starting to double team some reports and keep running into issuse with people doing the same thing twice. I want to know if I can have one workbook open and have multiple people be able to add data to it and have it so up on both computers. Sort of like a live feed/update for both computers. |
Hi
you may check 'Tools - share workbook' for this. though I personally don't like this feature :-) -- Regards Frank Kabel Frankfurt, Germany inspectorgadget wrote: Is there any way to edit the same workbook from multiple computers at the same time? You can share a workbook (ToolsShare Workbook). However, many features,
such as conditional formatting, can't be added in a shared workbook. There are details in Excel's Help, and he http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...010801033.aspx inspectorgadget wrote: Is there any way to edit the same workbook from multiple computers at the same time?
