Link not being updated....
 

Hi there,

I have this massive budgeting model on Excel with over 70
sheets. It has plenty of data but however does not have
complicated formulas to slow it down. I always managed to
work out fine ... however recently a somehow ackward thing
is happening which I can not explain !

I have certain sheets with simple straightforward links to
cells in other sheets.... eg. ='Sheet1'!c4 ... yes that
simple....

However for some odd reason if cell c4 in sheet 1 changes
value the corresponding linked cell does not change.....
no time for recalculation is needed but this linked cell
just won't change. I have tried to allow time for
recalculation but no % calculated is displayed ..!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Brian

May sound obvious but have you checked that Calculation is set to Automatic
in the options.
