paste web without date format
When i paste from a web page, Excel 2007 automatically changes any text that
might be considered a date into date format. In the Excel help, it indicates that after pasting, a "format options" button should appear that gives you the choice of maintaining the original format. However, this button never appears. When pasting a large amount of data, it's not worth it to go in and re-type all of the cells that are formatted wrong. Any ideas? |

The cells will only change if the spreadsheet is formated as General. You
can try to format the enire sheet as text before pasting the data.
