Why would they change that?
Good question. Here's my guess... You'll notice that Excel 2007 uses a lot of "pastel" coloring themes. So that light shade of blue falls into that scheme. There have been many complaints about this, myself included. Although I don't have any advance knowledge I'd be willing to bet that in the upcoming release of Excel 2010 this will be corrected/changed. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "JimAA" wrote in message ... Thanks, not the answer I was hoping for but it does help somewhat. Why would they change that? This is one step backward in functionality. "T. You can try adjusting your monitor contrast/tint/light/dark to see if that makes any difference. -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "JimAA" wrote in message ... I just upgraded to 2007 and am disappointed with the faint highlighting color when dragging and selecting groups of cells. I just installed SP2 Office update and it didn't fix that. Is there a setting that darkens the highlight color? Thanks |
