Workbook size
Hi,
I've created a workbook that captures the daily work done by my team. I had a similar one before and the new one is more than 11 MB in size. The old one was less than 1 MB. To make the changes, i just copied the existing one and formatted according to the new requirements. I want to know the reason behind huge increase in the file size... Regards, Sri Harsha. |

Whether the file is in sharing. If so then just remove the sharing and again
give sharing. This will reduce the Excel size. If the file is not in sharing mode then lot of reasons are there. Typically it has to do with your used range getting messed up. As a guess on
one or more of your sheets your scroll bars allow you to drag the scroll handle well past the end of your data. Here is a link on fixid the used range... http://www.contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#Unused -- HTH...
