I have two lists of total, both content the same information.
Date, merchant no., and total.. how would i go about doing so?

Take a look a Chip web,

to extact the values that are in one list and not in the other go to the
middle of the following web from Chip as well and look for the title
"Extracting Elements From One List Not On Another List"
