Why does my system freeze up when working on an excel sheet. It doesn't

Generally freezing occurs with limited resources.
We cannot see your computer or know what you're doing in Excel when you get a freeze so have no idea why the freeze. It happened when I was coping formulas from one column on one sheet to another column in other sheet. It also happened when I did a "print preview." |

It happened when I was coping formulas from one column on one sheet to another column in other sheet. It also happened when I did a "print preview." How big is the Excel file? If you are copying an entire column's formulas from one sheet to the other, that could be the problem there but it does not explain the freeze when you do print preview. Excel version, amount of computer memory may help in diagnosing. Bill |
