Opening Excel 2007

Help please!
When I open exc el it opens two workbooks.
1. autoexec.bat
2. config.sys

I want it to open a blank workbook. any ideas please

Go to Excel Options, Advanced, General Section,and clear the contents of
the box labeled "At startup, open all files in"
