Excel Files Won"t Open Automatically
Excel 2007
I have just installed my copy of Excel on my new computer. When I click on one of my files to open, Excel opens, (a shaded verson), but the file will not open. If I click back on My Documents tab at the bottom, then click back on the Excel tab, the file opens. |

Don't have 2007 here but in 2003 you need to select
Tools - Options - General Tab - uncheck ignore Other Applications. -- HTH... Jim Thomlinson "Canon" wrote: Excel 2007 I have just installed my copy of Excel on my new computer. Thanks Jim, but I have the settings exactly as I had on my old system - it
just will not open. "Jim Thomlinson" wrote: Don't have 2007 here but in 2003 you need to select Tools - Options - General Tab - uncheck ignore Other Applications. -- HTH...
