Time Format

Hi. I want to create a time sheet where a user logs in at a time then logs
out at a time, I want Excel to then calculate the number hours and minutes.

I can't seem to get Excel to just let me enter a time format, it wants to
enter date then time. How can I do this?

Have the users click on the cells that contain start/stop times and touch
CNTRL-SHFT-;

This will put times in the cells. Then its just =A2-A1 and format properly.

That's really great thanks and i will definitely use it! However, I could do
with just entering the time so that the user knows when the third party is
due to log in.
