Excel now moves Left & Right when I scroll the mouse not Up & Down

I have XP and just installed Office 2003. Now when I use the mouse wheel in
Excel (and this only happens with Excel) the screen scrolls left and right
instead of up and down. How do I get the Up/Down scroll back?
