Problem with printing comment in Excel 2007

I have inserted in cell C23. Colum A is set so that it appears on each
printed page. When I preview the worksheet all looks good, but when I print
it, the comment appears on each printed page.

Any help appreciated,

Do you want to see that comment at all?

If yes, then move it to the right (outside of column A).

If no, show the print setup dialog (not via print preview)

Then on the Sheet tab, turn off the "comments" option
(Don't use "as displayed on sheet").

Problem with printing comment in Excel 2007

Hi Dave
Yes, we do want to see the comment.
Sorry, my question wasnt very clear - I have inserted a comment in cell C23.
Have set column A to print on every page, but the comment in cell C23 also
prints on every page.

Comments can float almost anywhere. They can float near column C or the can be
far away--column IV if you want!

If your comment is floating over column A, then it'll show up on the paper like
you describe.

Show the comment (if you it's not visible now).

Click on the border's edge of the comment and drag it to the right.

If this doesn't help, maybe it's time to give more details.

Thanks Dave,
Dragged comment to column E, but still prints on every page. What other
details do you want?

That was enough.

I don't have have any other other suggestions.

Maybe one...

If you delete the comment and then re-add it, does anything different happen?
