Data Validation List Disappears
 

I have configured a data validation dropdown list in a cell using an
explicit range for the list.

This works as expected even with "split frames" activated. However, when
"freeze panes" is activated, the arrows and the input message appear
when the cell is selected but the dropdown list does not.

I recall this was a problem in earlier versions. Does anyone know if
this is still not fixed or if there is a work-around ?
