Excel hyperlinking
If users create a hyperlink to the doucment, is it possible that if they move
the file to a different folder, the link will automatically change to match the new location - so we do not have to update the links manually |
Excel hyperlinking
The easiest way to change link is to click on Data Tab and under connections
click Edit Link. This will allow you to edit all links to a file in your document, but there is no way to have the link automatically updated; however, if they just use the save as function excell will sometimes update links IF both files are open. Hope this helps "jeb" wrote: If users create a hyperlink to the doucment, is it possible that if they move the file to a different folder, the link will automatically change to match the new location - so we do not have to update the links manually |
