I am running EXCEL2003 in windowsxp and am getting the subject error message
when trying to open a link to a .pdf file. I am runniung Adobe reader 9.1 and do not have any problem opening the file with the adobe client directly. I have checked the kb but it only tells me how to set up the file assoc. for exce2000 but as previously mentioned the association is ok as witnessed by it opening the file directly and checking the file association in toolsfolder optionsfile types. Can anyone out there give me a clue regarding how to correct this. All help is apprciated in advance. |

Please disregard my post. When I looked at the discussion list again I
noticed a July 2009 post with the same problem. It suggested remove and reinstall adobe reader. I did this, really I just used the repair option on the uninstall dialog box, and it corrected the problem. Thanks for any effort anyone spent on this.
