Locking columns
 

Hi,
I have columns in my spreadsheet that have formulas, and as many people will
be entering information into the spreadsheet, i want to lock the columns with
formulas. Is there a way to lock only certain columns?

Locking columns
 

Select the column, right-click, Format Cells, Protection, Lock the cells.
Then you also have to turn on Protect Sheet. The exact steps vary slightly
by version of Excel, but you can probably figure it out.

Locking columns
 

Hi,
select the whole sheet, right click in the mouse, format cells, protection,
uncheck lock, then select the two columns you want to protect and check the
Lock box, then protect your sheet

You actually lock the Cells in the columns.
