Default I have a message "calculate" - how to resolve this issue ?

In left-down corrner I have a message "calculate" and when I create new
formula it does't calculate at all. I have no links to other files. I have to
save the file each time I want new formula to be calculated or press "enter"
on the cell. How to find the mistake in the file in order to get rid of the
message "calculate".
Thanks

Ms-Exl-Learner - Thank you - Thank you - Thank you. The Excel 2007 Office
Ribbon Button and so on, was most helpful to me. I appreciate the knowledge.
