Protect WorkBook & Sheet

Can anyone adz. If one protects a Woorkbook, say when worksheet 1 is active,
when the Workbook is protected, user will not be able to see or activate the
other available worksheets other then worksheet 1.

Hi Steven, if you protect the whole Workbook a user will have to enter a
password to get into that Workbook.

Once they are in the Workbook they can then view (and update / activate /
see) all Worksheets within that Workbook.

I think that this answers the question that you have set.

If my comments have helped you please hit Yes.

Thanks!

You can not stop a user from viewing a visible work sheet. If you hide the
sheets and protect the workbook then the sheets will be relatively safe from
viewing.

Just my 2 cents but you would not even want the functionallity that you have
asked for. As soon as you give it to someone else they will call you to let
you know that it is not working as they can not see the other sheets...
