Windows can not find C:\
I repaired and uninstalled then installed Office 2007. I opened Excel up and
search for my Excel Spreed Sheet and open it and then save as on my desktop like I always do. Then when I double click on the Icon I get "Windows can not find C:\User etc. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. |
Windows can not find C:\
Re-register Excel.
Close Excel first and On the Windows Taskbar 1) StartRun "excel.exe /unregserver"(no quotes)OK. 2) StartRun "excel.exe /regserver"(no quotes)OK. See the space between exe and /regserver You might have to designate a full path to excel.exe. In that case StartRun "C:\yourpath\excel.exe" /regserver(quotes required)OK. Have you reconfigured Excel to look at the correct path for your files. This can be done in Excel 2003 by going to Tools / Options / General / Default file locations. I presume it is something like this in Office 2007. Bill R |
