Netbook for Excel

Hi All....

I am considering buying a Asus 1000HE Netbook for portability. Presently I
have every version of Excel on my home computer from 4.3 to 2007, and would
intend to do so on the Netbook as well. Does anyone have any experience
running any of the versons of Excel on a Netbook? Pro's or Con's?

Tks,

We have been running 2000 on XP for years on some fairly low-end machines and
we get decent performance.

PS- you need the original CD to install it, can't just copy it from the
other pc

Thanks for the comeback dlw,

I also had run XL2k on a very low end laptop before, but just recently heard
that the Atom270/280 processor does not do well with large-scale application
programs.....so was just wondering.

Tks again,
