Can someone explain to me how to make comments pop-up when the cursor enters
a cell like in the sample templates?

I can't figure it out.

Hi Emilio,

Tools | Options | Select View tab | Check the "Comment indicator only"
option.

You can do this with Data Validation. There are instructions in Excel's
