![]() The FileFind display in Excel 5.0 was great for me. I have many files with similar names but FileFind would display them, one per line, _with their titles_. This made file selection a breeze because I could scan dozens of file titles at a time. In later versions of Excel, FileOpen displays a lame Explorer box that only displays the file title of the currently highlighted file. In other words, only one title can be read at a time, making scanning 150 files very difficult. Are there add-ins or other solutions to regain this crucial feature? I want to move on to newer versions of Excel but I cannot function without the ability to scan file titles. -- jeffbro27707 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jeffbro27707's Profile: http://www.msusenet.com/member.php?userid=858 View this thread: http://www.msusenet.com/t-1870395384 |
