tabbing order
I am setting up a cost sheet for my billing department and would like to set
up a tabbing order specific to the order of data entry. for instance, data needs to be entered into C8,D8,D10 - Tnen skip down to, C12,D12,D14- Then down to, B32,C32 etc. Can someone please help? |
tabbing order
As long as you follow the convention of left - right, then top - bottom
(which it looks like you do), you can achieve this affect by making those cells unprotected and then protecting the sheet, with the option of selecting locked cells turned off. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "CandiC" wrote: I am setting up a cost sheet for my billing department and would like to set up a tabbing order specific to the order of data entry. for instance, data needs to be entered into C8,D8,D10 - Tnen skip down to, C12,D12,D14- Then down to, B32,C32 etc. Can someone please help? |
tabbing order

http://www.xldynamic.com/source/xld.xlFAQ0008.html You may instead want to use VBA code to step through cells in order. Post back if that appeals.
