Have a need to possibly load Excel 2000 & Excel 2007 on same PC, want to make
sure it is possible. I think that after installing both versions, I would
then have to make sure which version I want to be the default. But, I want
to verify if it is possible and not cause a major conflict in Windows XP.

Yes that is no problem. I have 2000, 2003 and 2007 on this laptop.

Just be sure to select a new directory to install in, not over a previous
version.
