Can I prevent vertical table lines from printing?

Even though I have formatted the cells within a table to have only horizontal
lines, when I print the table vertical lines between the cells also print. Is
there any way to keep these lines from printing?

Bob,
can you try this?
Click the worksheet.
On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.
Select or clear the Gridlines check box.
Click Print.

*Click YES if this helps

I'm using Excel 2007 so although I had to take a different route to Page
Setup, I unchecked "Grid Lines" but the lines still show when I print the
table.
