Auto Cell Format Change from General to Custom Date
Upon opening a new workseet all cells are formatted as General. However as
an example when entering a range of page numbers such as "1-25", the cell format automatically changes to Custom Date and the "1-25" is then displayed as the date Jan 25. How do I keep this from happening? |

Preformat the cell as Text (format|cells|number tab in xl2003 menus) then do the
