how come i dont have an icon for excel
 

i have a laptop with vista home version, i am supposed to have excel 2002 on
my laptop, but i dont find a icon for it ? how can i access excel ?

IF it was installed you will find an icon for it in Programs.

1) press <Win+<R key, you should Run command, enter EXCEL and click ok.
if Excel is installed, then Excel should come up.
2) in control panel under "Programs And Features" check if Excel is installed.
if that works then we can see how to create the short cut on your desktop.
else i would suggest you to contact your tech support of laptop provider
