How do I add cells by highlighting them?
Normally, I can add numbers in different cells by highlighting those cells.
The sum will then appear at the bottom of my screen. For some reason, my excel program has stopped doing this. Now, when I highlight multiple cells with my cursor, excel only adds up the number of cells. For instance, if I highlight 5 cells, it will say "count = 5." I'd really like to be able to sum totals by highlighting cells again. How do I get this function back? |
