I have a spreadsheet with hundreds of line with data in the following
formats, eg 1232008, 122008, 12342008. I would like them all to be formatted like 0123/2008, 0012/2008, 1234/2008 or - instead of /, is their any easy way of doing this? Thanks |

You might try this:
1. Highlight the cell(s), column(s) or row(s) that contain your data, 2. Right click the selection & Left click "Format Cells" from the pop-up 3. Left click the "Number" tab 4. Left click "Custom" 5. Type 0000"/"0000 in the window below "Type:" Hope this helps =) "Missile" wrote: I have a spreadsheet with hundreds of line with data in the following formats, eg 1232008, 122008, 12342008.
