Pivot Table Formula not multiplying correctly
Excel 2007 - I have a pivot table with a formula in it that multiplies the
quantity and price of a product description. If there are no entries in my data that have the same product description and price the formula works just fine. However, if I have the same product description and same price it is adding up the prices first and then multiplying the sum of the quantities. It should only take the one price and then multiply the sum of the totals. Example below shows the answer should be 700, however the pivot table shows 1400 as the answer as it is adding (10+20)*(20*20). It should have (10+20)*20. It shouldn't sum the prices since they are the same. Description Qty Price Goobers (24ct) 10 20 Goobers (24ct) 25 20 Is there a way to fix this or turn a sum off? |

Pivot Table Formula not multiplying correctly
I am not exactly sure how this fixes my issue? The pivot table formula is
adding the two prices and then multiplying instead of just taking the one price ($20) and then multiplying it by the total number of quantity (350). "Herbert Seidenberg" wrote: Excel 2007 Pivot Table Missing and/or repeated entries. http://www.mediafire.com/file/qktldmq0aqz/09_02_09.xlsx |
