Sorting in a protected cell (Excel 2007)
 

I have a table with autofilter on a protected sheet. When I protected the
sheet, I have allowed users to sorting and use autofilter. The autofilter
works fine, but when I go to sort I get a message that I need to unprotect
the sheet.

What am I missing here. What functionality is allowed when I allow sorting
when protecting if I cannot sort the table?
