Line breaks in Excel
 

I have been sent a spreadsheet where each address is entered in one cell and
the line breaks appear as <br, which unfortunately appears when I attempt to
do a mailmerge using this data.

I know there is quite a simple way to replace this in Excel with a line
break, using find and replace, but I can't remember it. Can anyone help
please.

Hi,
to replace something you hit CTRL H, in your case go to , Page Layout,
breaks, remove breaks

Find what <br
Replace with press CTRL+J
