Delete unnecessary Named Ranges
I have a spreadsheet that has an incredibly long list of named ranges in the
Insert/Name/Define dialog that don't show in the Name Box. I don't know how they got there and they refer to cells on spreadsheets on other people's hard drives and network drives I don't have access to. I know how to delete them, one by one, in the dialog, but is there a way to delete them as a group? Thanks, Bernie |
Delete unnecessary Named Ranges
The perfect tool is the Name Manager addin, this will allow you to verify
names are not used before deleting them (and much more) http://www.jkp-ads.com/OfficeMarketPlaceNM-EN.asp http://www.decisionmodels.com/downloads.htm Regards, Peter T "berniean" wrote in message ...
