Paste Special
I am copying select cells from one workbook to another using Past Values
(using the toolbar button to paste). The value pastes, but if I hit enter (rather than the down arrow), the value I just pasted reverts to the formula/formatting of the cell I copied from. Is there an option I can access to turn this off? |
Paste Special
After pasting, hit "Esc" to let XL know you're done pasting. Or stop hitting
Enter. The reason this is happening is that normally you can use Enter as a way of Pasting and exit CopyPaste mode with a single keystroke. So, in essence, you're currently telling XL to do a Paste Special - Values, and then Paste all & exit CopyPaste mode. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Smeds128" wrote: I am copying select cells from one workbook to another using Past Values (using the toolbar button to paste).
