Default Autosum data from 2 columns with Divide function

Hi,

Is there a quick way of getting a total sum for 2 columns of data whereby I
need to divide data in each each row by the row beside it and just get a
total at the end without the need for creating a row first with the divide
formula?

i.e current formula is A1/B1+A2/B2+... but I have thousands of rows and I'd
rather not have to add an extra column to the spreadsheet ...I just need a
total at the end.

Thanks
