Using Excel on server where Excel is not installed
Hi,
I have to run a program which will use excel services, on a server where MS Excel is not installed. Are there libraries (which provided excel services) I can install and use for above mentioned requirement.. Any response will be helpful. Regards, Vivek Pareek |

Using Excel on server where Excel is not installed
If you can't bring Mohmad to the mountain, then bring the mount to Mohmad.
It is expensive to maintain excel on a server. That is why most people connect to the server through a PC where excel is running. Then use excel on the local PC to perform the task. There are many wasy to access data and file on a server and just use excel as a front end tool to perform the task. You can get access priledges on the local PC to erpfrom any task that you need to run on the Server. Servers on enteneded to maintain files, and transfer fer data between to other locations, not to run user apllications.
