Excel Bubble Chart/Graph from Pivot Table
Hi
I'm building an Analysis Services project, the data from which will be accessed via Excel. I specifically need to produce bubble charts from the data, but from what I can see, you can't do this from pivot tables, which is how the data is retrieved from SQL Server Analysis Services. Is there a workaround, or a way that I can sort this out? Thanks Sean |

Excel Bubble Chart/Graph from Pivot Table
Well that's the problem, you can't create bubble charts from Pivot
Tables. Have you tried this? Hi,

Excel Bubble Chart/Graph from Pivot Table
Very strange. I get a message saying:
"You cannot use an XY (Scatter), Bubble, or Stock chart type with a chart that has been created from PivotTable data. Please select a different chart type" This happens as soon as I click the Scatter or Bubble chart from the Insert ribbon, in Excel 2007, when positioned on a pivot table. In other words, it doesn't generate any graph to cut & paste, it errors with the above message as soon as I try.
