Footes - Automaticly print on every print job - Excel 2007
Is there a way to set print options to always print a footer even on existing
files? I'd like to get the file name and location on every file I print without needing to tell it to do it. Excel 2007 Thanks John |

You can't set new defaults on pre-existing files. However, what you could do
is setup a printing macro that sets up a footer with file name and location, and then prints file. Setup a shortcut key, (in your case, you might even want to use Ctrl+p) and then save the macro in your personal workbook (the one XL loads everytime). Now, everytime you load XL, that macro should get loaded, and you can use it to print pre-exisitng files with your desired footer. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "JohnH" wrote: Is there a way to set print options to always print a footer even on existing files?
