Can i convert numbers into string format?

Is there a way in Execl (2002) to convert numbers into string format? For
Example 1234 to "One thousand two hundred thirty four".

Hi
This is one of the features included in the free ASAP Untilities' add-in.
There are loads of other useful functions included as well. Their address is

This file might be a help:
http://www.bygsoftware.com/examples/...s/num2wrds.zip

It's in the "Accountants" section on page:
http://www.bygsoftware.com/examples/examples.htm
It contains two methods to convert numbers to words and two cheque writing
routines.

The code is open and commented.
